Welcome to The Block Sports and Social (“The Block,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including participation in sports tournaments, social events, day parties, networking events, and use of our websites, mobile applications, and social media channels (“Services”).
By registering for, purchasing tickets to, attending, or participating in any event or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old to register for, purchase, or attend any event unless the event is explicitly designated as family-friendly. Minors under 18 may only attend such designated events with a parent or legal guardian who consents on their behalf.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS SECTION AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Participation in sports tournaments, social gatherings, and other activities involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to serious injury, illness, property damage, or death.
BY PARTICIPATING IN ANY EVENT, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATION.
You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless The Block, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, sponsors, partners, affiliates, and volunteers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising out of or relating to your participation or attendance, except for claims resulting solely from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of the Released Parties.
3. EVENT POLICIES
3.1 Code of Conduct
All participants and attendees agree to:

Treat all persons with respect and dignity.

Comply with all event and facility rules.

Refrain from violence, threats, discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior.

Follow all instructions given by staff or event representatives.
We reserve the right to deny admission or remove any individual violating these policies without refund.
3.2 Alcohol and Substances

You must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol and must present valid government-issued identification.

The Block reserves the right to limit or refuse alcohol service.

Illegal drugs, weapons, and controlled substances are prohibited.
3.3 Photography and Recordings
By entering any event or venue, you grant The Block and its partners the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to record, photograph, livestream, and otherwise capture your image, voice, and likeness in any media for promotional, commercial, or any other lawful purposes without further notice or compensation.
4. TICKETS, REGISTRATION, AND PAYMENTS
4.1 Payment and Refunds
All ticket sales, registration fees, and product purchases are final and nonrefundable unless The Block cancels the event in its entirety with no rescheduled date. If an event is rescheduled, your tickets will automatically transfer to the new date.
Refund requests for other circumstances are evaluated at The Block’s sole discretion and must be submitted in writing prior to the event date.
4.2 Transfers
Ticket transfers are permitted if requested in writing at least 48 hours before the event start time.
5. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
If you are injured or become ill during an event, you authorize The Block and its representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf, and you agree to be fully responsible for all related costs.
6. INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to:

Your participation in any event or use of Services;

Your violation of these Terms;

Any negligent or wrongful conduct by you.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BLOCK AND THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IF THE BLOCK OR THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE FOUND LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE EVENT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL LIMIT LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR WAIVED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
8. ADA ACCOMMODATION AND NONDISCRIMINATION
The Block is committed to providing inclusive, accessible events. If you require a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), please contact us in advance at management@theblockss.com.
Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, logos, designs, and materials provided by The Block are the exclusive property of The Block or its licensors. No materials may be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without express prior written consent.
10. SOCIAL MEDIA AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT
If you submit, post, or share any content with The Block or on our websites or social media platforms, you grant The Block a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, reproduce, modify, adapt, and distribute that content for any purpose.
You agree not to post any content that:

Is false or misleading;

Infringes any rights of any third party;

Contains harmful or malicious code.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS
The Block reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. EVENT TICKETS AND REGISTRATIONS
All event tickets, team registrations, and event-related purchases are final sale and non-refundable.

2. MERCHANDISE RETURNS

Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Approved returns must be shipped back within 7 days of authorization.

4. REFUNDS

Event tickets, registrations, and digital products cannot be canceled or refunded once purchased.

All orders must be inspected upon delivery. Damage or shortage claims must be submitted within 3 days of delivery with photos.

By placing an order, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this Shipping Policy.
